9 week placement at Cole Jarman, now RSK Acoustics. This was my first experience working in Acoustic Consultancy, was a far smaller company and different experience to AECOM. Here I worked in the following areas:
- Noise and vibration survey design, setup, note taking, site photography and collection.
- Unattended, attended and night time surveys.
- Post survey reports
- Time management and and client leasing
- Geometrical acoustic and room acoustic modelling, both CAD and numerical.
- Plant noise assessments and modelling
- Building acoustical models from Architect renderings
